In case you didn’t know, we are big fans of traveling! Whether it’s a weekend road trip or a week long vacation, we love it!! I wanted to look back on some of our favorite trips and put together some of our favorite things to do!

-LA JOLLA COVE! This was one of my top spots we went to! The seals are usually laying out enjoying the sun and they are so cute! There is a walkway that leads you pretty far out above the water and if you are there at the right time you might even get splashed with some waves! All of the shops around the cove are super cute too.

-The waterfront walkway has a couple specific spots you’ll want to visit. The whole walk is beautiful and full of little carts selling jewelry, art and music. You’ll find lots of local musicians playing while you walk around.

The USS Midway is also here. We didn’t go inside but even seeing it from the outside is amazing. A little bit past the Midway is the famous kissing statue! Of course this was on the top of my list! It’s in a perfect picture location and full of plenty of tourists trying to get the same picture. They are all recreating the statue so you won’t feel weird doing the same.

-Hotel del Coronado! This hotel is seriously beautiful! The grounds are amazing, the building is so pretty and the inside (at least the entry foyer that we saw) is just as pretty! We didn’t stay here but it was one of the places we wanted to stop. It’s definitely worth visiting!

-LDS temple. This was obviously one of our top spots. This temple is beautiful and the grounds make for the perfect photo op! We could’ve spent hours here taking pictures! You can also see this when you are driving on the freeway and it’s beautiful!

-BALBOA PARK! All the heart eyes for this place. This was another favorite places we went. I think if we lived there we would probably go here every day. When my friend said we could spend all day at this park I thought she was weird but of course she was right! It has so many different things to do and see! They have museums and things you can pay for and a lot of free stuff for you to see and do. It was the prettiest park and a definite must do!

Some honorable mentions for the food that we ate: Carnitas Snack Shack (delicious tacos and burgers), Bing Haus (super yummy rolled ice cream), Habit burger (really good burgers) And definitely make sure to try a California burrito (it has french fries in it!!).

Of course we also went to a couple different beaches and piers and loved all of them. It’s the prettiest place and Josh is convinced we should live there one day.

Let me know your favorite places and things to do!
